All devices that have successfully been data-wiped or sanitised will be reused or repurposed. Faulty or damaged beyond repair devices will be physically destroyed, shredded and then broken down for zero waste to landfill materials recycling.

Every piece of IT equipment collected with hard-bearing hardware is closely inspected then securely data wiped using industry-leading software Certus Erasure to MoD standards.

Other methods used are; Software reset, Configuration wiping, Degaussing, Label/ reference removal, CESG approved, crushing, Physical destruction (shredding)

Depending on the method used, either Erasure Certificates or Certificates of Data Destruction are provided within 21 days of collection.
